森田 紀一（もりた きいち、1915年2月11日 ? 1995年8月4日 ）は日本の数学者。専門は代数学、位相空間論。
1939年、東京文理科大学の助手に就任。1950年、大阪大学で学位を取得。

Morita was largely self-taught.
In 1939 he was appointed assistant at the Tokyo University of
Science and Literature, and after an interlude as
lecturer/professor at Tokyo Higher Normal
School he was appointed professor at the former
university in 1951, where he taught for twentyseven years (a period during which the two institutions were combined and later relocated
from Tokyo to Tsukuba). Finally, as emeritus
from the University of Tsukuba, he continued his
activities at Sophia University.

森田同値
代数学において、森田同値（もりたどうち、英: Morita equivalence）とは、環論的な多くの性質を保つ環の間の関係のことを言う。これはMorita (1958)において同値関係と双対性に関する記号を定義した森田紀一にちなんで名付けられた。
環が森田同値であるとはその環上の加群の成す圏が圏同値であることと定めた。
この表記方法は非可換環を扱っている場合にのみ興味の対象となる。
